A 3D photo crystal is a solid block of optical K9 crystal with your photograph laser-engraved inside it. The laser creates millions of tiny fracture points at different depths, so the image has real depth rather than sitting on the surface. Lit from below on its LED base, the photo appears to float inside the glass.
At Heenan, photo crystals start at $79 for a small rectangle and run to $225 for a mini mantel piece. Keychains are $45. Every price includes the LED display base and a presentation gift box, and there are no extra charges for the six crystal colours.
A clear, well-lit, high-resolution photo with a distinct subject. Faces should be in focus and not too small in the frame. Bright, evenly lit photos engrave better than dark ones, and a simple background helps the subject stand out. We check every photo before we cut.
Yes. Groups, couples, families and pets all engrave well; the shape just has to match the composition. A row of people needs one of the wide shapes so nobody gets cropped out.
